US Earnings Insight

Produce a buy-side earnings deep-read for one US-listed company and one reported fiscal quarter, delivered as a brand-styled single-page HTML report plus a short chat summary. Report language follows the language of the user's request (Chinese request → Chinese report with full-width punctuation); this SKILL.md's internal instructions stay English. Non-interactive invocation (cron/scheduled runs, no user turn to read): default to an English report on the latest reported quarter, deliver the file plus a short summary, and never block on a clarifying question — resolve ambiguity with the most recent reported data and label the assumption. Core promise: accurate numbers, clear logic, ruthless prioritization, and at least a few insights a casual reader of the press release would miss.

Step 0: Scope

Resolve the exact ticker (use driven search.* or web discovery if only a name is given). Default to the latest reported quarter; confirm which quarter that is via driven calendar.earnings-company symbol=<T> (rows with non-null actuals are reported). If the company has not reported the quarter the user expects, say so and stop instead of analyzing stale data. If the ticker is not US-listed, state the skill's scope and hand back.
