Best US Option Manage Skill

Use this skill to review and manage US equity option-income positions or user-provided candidate contracts. The skill is a workflow and decision checklist, not an all-market option screener. User-facing output should match the user's language; default to concise Chinese when the user writes Chinese.

Purpose

This skill helps answer: given a US equity option position or candidate contract, what should be done next?

Supported decisions:

• Open or reject a short put candidate.
• Hold or close an existing short put.
• Evaluate take-profit / buy-to-close decisions.
• Evaluate defensive roll choices.
• Manage assignment and Wheel transition.
• Evaluate covered-call candidates against owned shares.
• Review margin, ROR, concentration, and event risk.

Do not use this as a complete automated search system for finding option opportunities from the entire market. If the user asks for discovery, first obtain or generate a candidate list with a separate screening process, then use this skill to review each candidate.

Scope

• Market: US listed equities and US equity options.
• Primary structures: short puts, cash-secured or margin-secured puts, covered calls, assignment/Wheel management.
• Excluded by default: naked calls, complex spreads, non-US options, HK options, futures options, index options, crypto options, and broad stock valuation.
• If market, instrument, or strategy type is unclear, ask a clarifying question before applying this workflow.

Data and Evidence Routing
