Claude Fable 5.1 and Gemini 3.8 Flash, now in Driven

New models

Claude Fable 5.1 is now available to Ultra users for complex reasoning, extended Agent tasks, and multi-step research. Gemini 3.8 Flash is available to Pro, Max, and Ultra users for fast processing of long documents, multimodal content, and complex workflows.

Message queue

Keep sending messages while your Agent is thinking or responding. New messages wait in the current conversation’s queue and are sent one at a time as each turn finishes. Queue up to five messages per conversation, reorder them by dragging or using the keyboard, and edit or remove them at any time.

Dedicated options data tools

New tools built specifically for options data help your Agent retrieve it more accurately, reliably, and quickly.

Bearer API keys for custom Connectors

You can now configure a Bearer API key in Advanced Settings when adding a custom Connector. Driven automatically includes it with requests for authentication, and the full key stays hidden in the interface.

Polish

Connector tools are now grouped by capability, with matching groups expanding automatically when you search. Long conversations and replies also use fewer resources by reducing repeated reads of the same context.

Fixes

Improved timeout detection and retries for attachment downloads across OpenAI, Anthropic, and Vertex to reduce task interruptions. Fixed issues with chat content and input state on mobile when rotating the screen, using browser back and forward, or switching conversations. Public Scheduled Task result pages no longer display task names, full instructions, or schedules, helping keep sensitive details private. Also fixed an issue where a background chat could overwrite the URL when opening Connector details on mobile.
