ClickUp’s official MCP server allows compatible AI assistants to securely search and work with data across a ClickUp Workspace. Users can find, create, and update tasks; assign owners; set priorities, dates, tags, Custom Fields, dependencies, and relationships; attach files; and manage tasks in bulk. The integration also supports workspace-wide search, task comments and threaded replies, Docs and document pages, Chat channels and messages, Spaces, Folders, Lists, workspace members, and time tracking. These capabilities support workflows such as project planning, task routing, executive reporting, release-note generation, status summaries, time analysis, and extracting action items from team discussions. Authentication uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, and the MCP only exposes data and actions available to the authenticated ClickUp user. Availability and usage limits depend on the associated ClickUp plan and AI add-ons.
